About the opportunity

Your primary focus will be as the interface between Melbourne Business School and its students/participants (our clients). Working collaboratively with relevant Program Managers, key stakeholders and other team members, you will be responsible for providing professional, high-quality and appropriate administrative support and advice to our clients, so that their customer experience is seamless.

Reporting to the Program Services Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering world class customer service to MBS clients
  • Administrative and program coordination support to clients (at all stages of their on-boarding and participation) and the department.
  • Supporting all administrative aspects of students’ academic progress.
  • Assisting with the quality assurance of Learning Management Systems
  • Supporting various student events and special programs such as orientation, valedictory dinner, graduation ceremony and celebration.
  • Administering enrolments and ensuring students follow prescribed course structures and have met all the required subject pre-requisites.
  • Business process improvement to ensure a seamless client experience.
  • Key stakeholder development and management.
  • Contribution to relevant projects as required.
  • Raise purchase orders and process invoices relating to programs, within budget and timelines.
  • Monitor expenses relating to programs in-line with budgets.

About you

  • Exceptional communication (written and verbal) and customer service skills.
  • Experience in a fast paced, busy customer service environment.
  • A strong customer focus and commitment to quality service.
  • Enthusiasm for working pro-actively in an academic and professional development environment.
  • An eye for process improvement, attention to detail and high degrees of accuracy.
  • Experience in working to and delivering against project deadlines.
  • Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines for a range of concurrent tasks of varying complexity.
  • Proven ability to be adaptable and work flexibly.
  • Ability to deal with a range of clients of varying educational and cultural backgrounds.
  • Work seamlessly as a team member both within the team and across teams.
  • Flexibility to work shifts from Monday to Friday between 7.00am and 6.00pm, and occasional evening or weekend shifts to support client activities.
